Privacy Policy

Who we are
GlobalScope Ltd operates globalscope.co — a platform that helps business graduates find international career opportunities in cities like Dubai, Singapore, and Sydney. When we say "GlobalScope", "we", "us", or "our" in this policy, that's who we mean.
We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. No legalese — just plain English.
What we collect
Account data. When you sign up we collect your email address and, once you complete onboarding, your full name, degree subject, graduation year, target city, and target industry.
Profile data. Any additional information you choose to add — nationality, LinkedIn URL, CV, headline, bio. This is always optional.
Payment data. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details. We do store your subscription plan, status, and Stripe customer ID so we know which features to unlock for you.
Usage data. We use PostHog to understand how people use the product — page views, feature interactions, session duration. This data is pseudonymised and used solely to improve GlobalScope.
Error data. When something breaks, Sentry captures a technical error report. These reports contain no payment data and are used only to fix bugs.
How we use your data
To create and manage your account, and to personalise your experience based on your target city and industry.
To process your subscription and send payment receipts (via Stripe).
To send transactional emails — welcome messages, important account updates. We do not send marketing emails without your explicit consent.
To improve the product using aggregated, anonymised analytics.
To diagnose and fix technical errors.
Who we share data with
We use a small set of trusted third-party services to run GlobalScope. Each acts as a data processor under an appropriate agreement:
- Supabase — database and authentication hosting (EU region).
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Resend — transactional email delivery.
- PostHog — product analytics (pseudonymised).
- Sentry — error monitoring (no payment data).
We do not sell your data. We never have and never will.
Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or accounting reasons (e.g. payment records for up to 7 years).
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. You can update most profile information directly in your account settings. For anything else — including full data export or deletion — email us at privacy@globalscope.co and we will respond within 30 days.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies: one essential authentication cookie (required for you to stay logged in) and PostHog analytics cookies. You can opt out of analytics at any time by emailing us — your product experience will not change.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes we will email registered users at least 14 days before the changes take effect. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the latest revision.
