Paralegal - Compliance (6-Month Contract), Global Hedge Fund

Launch your buy-side career with a top-tier global hedge fund. This 6-month contract opportunity (which can be extended to a permanent position) is ideal for ambitious paralegals from leading law firms, financial-services / investment-management firms who are keen to gain first-hand experience within a fast-paced, high-performing Compliance team. You will support a broad range of Hong Kong compliance activities, including: • Regulatory filings, SFC licensing and external regulatory enquiries • Compliance inductions, employee training and culture initiatives • Compliance reporting, registers, attestations and record maintenance • Personal-account dealing, outside-interest reporting and management metrics • Drafting compliance documentation and coordinating with internal stakeholders You will have: • 2–5 years of relevant paralegal, compliance, regulatory or legal-support experience gained within a law firm, financial-services / investment-management firm • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Economics, with a strong academic record • Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills and sound judgment and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese, with confidence engaging stakeholders at all levels This is an excellent opportunity for Paralegals looking to move in-house to join a globally recognised investment platform.
