Corporate Lawyer – NQ to 1.5 PQE Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE Level: Newly Qualified (NQ) – 1.5 PQE Practice: Corporate / M&A We are seeking a high-calibre Corporate Lawyer at NQ to 1.5 PQE level to join a growing team in Abu Dhabi. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior corporate lawyer to develop their career in a leading Middle East legal market, working on sophisticated cross-border transactions and advising major corporates, investors and other institutional clients. The Opportunity The successful candidate will work closely with senior lawyers on a broad range of corporate matters, including: • M&A and joint ventures • Corporate reorganisations and restructurings • Private equity and investment transactions • General corporate and commercial matters • Cross-border transactions involving the UAE and wider Middle East • Due diligence, transaction documentation and negotiation You will have significant exposure to high-value and complex matters, with excellent opportunities for responsibility, development and progression. Candidate Profile We are looking for a strong academic and professional profile. Candidates should have: • NQ to 1.5 years' post-qualification experience • Trained and/or qualified with a Magic Circle or leading US law firm • High-quality corporate/M&A experience gained at a leading international practice • Excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, international environment • Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail • The confidence and maturity to work with sophisticated clients and senior stakeholders • Arabic language skills would be highly desirable, although not essential • Candidates with experience of Middle East-related transactions or exposure to UAE/GCC clients will be particularly attractive.
