As the Legal Operations Associate within The Voleon Group's growing Legal and Compliance Department, you will receive substantive, hands-on exposure across the full breadth of an in-house legal function at a quantitative investment firm. The associate will work directly alongside a high-performing team of attorneys and operations professionals. This role offers a rare opportunity to gain in-house hedge fund legal experience early in your career. We are seeking candidates who are interested in growing with the team and expect to remain in the role for at least two years. We are hiring for a Summer 2027 start. This role is hybrid, with an expectation of working in our Berkeley or New York office at least three days per week. Responsibilities - Support the Legal Department across its core work streams, including: - Fund and other investment product launches - Investor side letter review and negotiation - NDA and commercial contract negotiations - IP and trademark matters
