This is an excellent opportunity for an ACCA student, affiliate, or recent graduate who wants to build a career in UAE taxation. The successful candidate will receive practical exposure to VAT accounting, compliance, client management, and FTA procedures while working under the guidance of experienced professionals. The role may also support eligible ACCA trainees in gaining relevant practical experience toward their ACCA Practical Experience Requirement (PER), subject to ACCA’s applicable requirements and proper performance objective sign-off. Key Responsibilities • Assist with the preparation and review of UAE VAT returns. • Review accounting records, sales invoices, purchase invoices, and supporting documents for VAT compliance. • Perform VAT reconciliations between accounting records, VAT reports, and financial statements. • Assist with VAT registrations, amendments, deregistrations, and refund applications. • Support the team in responding to FTA enquiries, assessments, and information requests. • Identify missing documents, incorrect VAT treatments, and potential compliance issues. • Coordinate with accounting teams to ensure transactions are correctly recorded before VAT filing. • Maintain accurate VAT working papers, filing records, and client documentation. • Monitor VAT filing deadlines and assist in ensuring timely submissions. • Communicate professionally with clients to obtain information and clarify transactions. • Stay updated on UAE VAT legislation, FTA guidance, and relevant regulatory developments. • Support senior team members with other accounting and tax-related assignments when req
