Junior Accountant – IT Company

We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our growing IT company in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of accounting principles and be familiar with accounting software, UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and general financial and administrative processes. | The candidate will support the finance and accounting function and ensure that financial records are accurate, complete, and maintained in accordance with applicable UAE regulations and company policies. | Key Responsibilities | * Handle daily accounting transactions, invoices, payments, and expenses. | * Manage accounts payable/receivable and perform bank reconciliations. | * Maintain accurate financial records and documentation. | * Assist with monthly reports and financial closing. | Support UAE VAT and Corporate Tax compliance. | * Assist with payroll and employee-related accounting. | * Coordinate with auditors and external consultants when required. | * Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable UAE laws. | * Perform other accounting duties as required. | Requirements | * Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. | * 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience; UAE experience is preferred. | * Good knowledge of accounting principles and practices. | * Familiarity with accounting software/ERP systems such as QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho Books, Tally, Sage, or similar applications. | * Good understanding of UAE VAT and basic knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax. | * Good knowledge of MS Excel. | * Strong attention to detail and accuracy. | * Good communication and organizational skills. | * Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial and employee information. | * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. | Preferred | * Previous experience in a UAE-based company. | * Experience with VAT filing and Corporate Tax compliance. | * Experience handling accounts for company. | * Familiarity with UAE payroll and employee-related accounting process
