Junior Accountant(Experience with Oracle NetSuite and Tally Prime.)

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team in Dubai. Key Responsibilities • Assist in maintaining day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions. • Prepare journal entries, payment vouchers, and receipt vouchers accurately. • Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and customer/vendor reconciliations. • Perform bank reconciliations and assist with cash and petty cash management. • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities. • Prepare and maintain accounting schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documents. • Assist in the preparation of VAT returns and ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations. • Support the finance team during external audits by providing required documentation. • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper filing of accounting documents. • Assist with inventory reconciliations and fixed asset records where required. • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures. • Perform other accounting and administrative duties assigned by the Finance Manager. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Minimum 2–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE. • Good understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping. • Basic knowledge of UAE VAT regulations. • Hands-on experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries. • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting software. • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and organisational abilities. • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
