Junior Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to support the Finance team in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and assisting with day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles, strong analytical skills, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and accounting documentation. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions. Prepare and record journal entries in the accounting system. Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and general ledger accounts. Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities. Assist with the preparation of financial reports and management reports. Monitor and track expenses, invoices, and payments. Ensure all financial transactions are recorded in compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Assist with VAT filings and other regulatory reporting requirements. Support audit activities by preparing required schedules and documentation. Maintain organized accounting files and records. Collaborate with various departments to resolve finance-related queries. Assist in preparing and consolidating budgets for individual business units. RequirementsEducation CA (Inter) part-qualified, or ACCA/CMA qualification, preferred. Experience 2–3 years of experience in accounting or finance or experience gained at an audit firm. Technical Skills Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Hands-on experience with an ERP or accounting system is required (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Zoho Books, QuickBooks).
