General Accountant

About AccouConsult AccouConsult Accounting is a Dubai-based accounting and financial services company providing accounting, taxation, VAT, financial advisory, and business support services to clients in the UAE. We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant – Company Accounts to manage the company's internal accounting activities, with particular emphasis on billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and day-to-day financial record keeping. Key Responsibilities 1. Company Accounting - Manage and maintain the company's day-to-day accounting records. - Record and reconcile all company income and expenses accurately. - Maintain proper accounting documentation and supporting records. - Perform regular bank, cash, receivable, and payable reconciliations. - Monitor company expenses and ensure proper accounting classification. - Maintain accurate ledgers and accounting schedules. - Assist management with monthly and periodic financial reports.Bills & Invoicing - Prepare and issue company invoices and bills to customers/clients. 2. Accounts Payable & Receivable - Maintain accurate records of company payables and receivables. - Process supplier payments after obtaining the required approvals. - Track outstanding supplier invoices and customer receivables. - Reconcile supplier and customer accounts periodically. - Prepare payment schedules and outstanding reports for management. - Ensure timely settlement of approved company expenses and supplier bills. 3. VAT & Compliance Support - Maintain proper VAT-related records and supporting documents for company transactions. - Ensure invoices and expenses are recorded with the correct VAT treatment. - Assist in preparing information required for VAT return filing. - Maintain organized financial records for audit and compliance purposes. - Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, tax consultants, or management when required. 4.
