Front Office Application Support Lead - Global Investment Bank - Hong Kong

Our client, a global investment bank, are actively seeking a Front Office Application Support Lead to join their equity derivatives technology team. You will provide production support and operational leadership for equity derivatives trading applications and the supporting ecosystem used by front office teams. You will ensure stability and availability of critical platforms, lead incident/problem management, oversee change/release readiness, and partner with trading, quant, and technology teams to continuously improve service quality. The role: - Lead support for equity derivatives applications, including trading/execution workflow, reference/contract dependencies, and downstream integrations used by traders and structuring teams. - Own the end-to-end incident management lifecycle: triage, coordination, escalation, resolution, and post-incident RCA/action plans. - Manage change and release support for derivatives systems (UAT coordination, readiness checks, deployment support, and rollback planning as needed). - Perform operational monitoring and proactive health checks; drive alert tuning to reduce noise and improve detection. - Partner with front office stakeholders to understand business impact, prioritize fixes, and communicate clearly during incidents. - Identify and remediate recurring issues through problem management and root-cause driven improvements. - Maintain/upkeep runbooks, support documentation, and knowledge base content for operational continuity. - Coordinate with engineering/development teams and vendors to ensure timely fixes and stable releases.
