Business Analyst - Leading Investment Bank

Our client, a leading global investment bank, is seeking an experienced Business Analyst with Australian market experience to join its Project Management Team in Hong Kong. The team drives strategic business transformation initiatives, working closely with Technology, Operations, Legal, and other functional teams to deliver solutions that improve efficiency, enhance client services, and support business objectives. The role combines business analysis, project management, stakeholder management, and implementation, with a strong focus on delivering change initiatives across financial services. Experience working on projects involving the Australian market is considered a major asset for this position. Key Responsibilities: • Lead business analysis and project delivery from requirements gathering and process analysis through UAT, implementation, and post-production support. • Work with stakeholders to define project scope, business requirements, workflows, user stories, and process improvements. • Manage project plans, timelines, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder communications. • Coordinate with Technology, Operations, Legal, and business teams, facilitating working groups and resolving issues or conflicting priorities. • Prepare project updates, management reports, and steering committee materials, while monitoring project performance and supporting continuous improvement. Qualifications: • University degree in Business, Finance, IT, or a related discipline. • 5–8 years of experience in business analysis, project management, or transformation within banking or financial services. • Experience working with the Australian market, Australian banking operations, or Australia-related projects is a strong advantage. • Experience in Private Banking or Retail Banking is an advantage. • Knowledge of investment advisory, investment risk management, order lifecycle, fee management, or revenue management is a plus. • Strong experience in requirem
