Associate - Business/Data Analyst

This position is based in our office in Dubai Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst / Business Analyst to support OmniVista clients across the financial services industry, including Fortune 100 firms, hedge funds, mutual funds, and asset managers. This role focuses on maintaining data quality, performing system testing, and assisting with ongoing client operations. Responsibilities are continuous and recurring rather than limited to individual projects. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel, and the ability to work with complex datasets while adapting to evolving client and business needs. Responsibilities Data Quality and Reconciliation - Maintain data accuracy through reconciliation, review, and investigation of data breaks. - Perform initial analysis to identify potential sources of discrepancies and collaborate with internal teams, clients, and software providers to resolve issues. - Support ongoing data governance activities by reviewing, testing, and validating system and data changes. QA and System Testing - Perform QA and regression testing for updates, new features, and system enhancements across internal and client-facing platforms. - Document test results and work with development teams to ensure issues are addressed. Business Analysis and Requirements - Gather and analyze business requirements for system changes, workflows, and operational processes. - Contribute to best practices for requirements gathering, testing standards, and team communication. Client Support and Operations - Support client workflows, daily operations, and ongoing business needs. - Troubleshoot production issues and assist with resolving data-related problems while maintaining system accuracy. - Perform ad hoc data analysis and Excel-based projects as neede
